For anyone who has walked the heartbreaking path of losing a baby — whether during pregnancy, at birth, or in infancy — the silence can often feel as heavy as the grief itself. We have created a special community that has grown to wrap its arms around those families, letting them know they never have to walk it alone.
Never Forgotten— the only dedicated group of its kind in the borough — has become a lifeline for women, partners, and families across Trafford and beyond. Since it began, it has supported countless people through one of life’s hardest experiences, offering a gentle, safe space where no one needs to explain, apologise, or pretend they are “managing okay.”
Grief can be incredibly isolating. Friends and family may not know what to say; others may fear mentioning the baby in case it causes pain. But at this group, every baby is remembered, every feeling is valid, and every story matters.
“For so many, the greatest comfort is simply sitting beside someone who understands, I know first-hand that when you’ve lost a baby, it can feel like the whole world keeps turning while yours stands still. At Never Forgotten, people see you — and they see your baby, too.”
The group brings families together to share, listen, and heal. Whether through quiet chats, craft evenings, memory making, or special annual events like the Wave of Light candle service on 15th October — we stand together, united in love and remembrance.
We are proving a caring community that can make such a huge difference, no parent should ever have to grieve their baby in silence — and here, they never will.
We offer a non-judgemental safe space to remember our babies.
