At playgroup we aim to provide care and education for pre-school children [ 2 yr. to 4 yrs. 11 months] using Early Learning Goals and six areas of learning. Children are encouraged to reach their potential, also politeness and care towards others through their social interaction We offer support to parents and careers and encourage parental involvement through the committee, which is made up of parents. We have places for 28 children daily and are at present full. Older children receive grants and we encourage those transferring to St Mary’s Primary School to stay with us until going to school as we link with the teachers for visits. Last year we received a grant which was spent on safety and educational needs, we purchased radiator covers, a new fence, educational outdoor toys and computer materials.
Time: Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 12.00hrs |
